What does Stay Bookd actually do?

When you can't answer your business phone, the caller hears a short greeting, and within seconds gets a text from your business. Our assistant answers their questions with the facts you gave it, collects what they need, and either sends your booking link or takes a tentative booking and texts it to you. Missed call → captured customer.

When does my free trial start?

Not at signup. Your 7-day trial starts the moment we catch your FIRST real missed call. Carrier forwarding can take up to 2 business days to activate — that wait never eats your trial. You save a card at signup but pay nothing until the trial ends.

How much does it cost?

$89 CAD per month after your trial. No setup fee, no contract — cancel anytime and you won't be billed again after the current period.

Will my phone stop ringing?

No. We use "no-answer" forwarding: your phone rings exactly like today. Only calls you DON'T pick up get forwarded to us. Answer as usual and we never touch the call.

What number do my customers see texts from?

A local Canadian number we set up for your business in your area code (or as close as available). Texts open with your business name, so customers know exactly who it is.

How do I set up forwarding?

One dial code on your business phone — takes under a minute. Your personalized code and step-by-step instructions for every major Canadian carrier are on your forwarding page after signup.

Can I test it without starting my trial?

Yes. Call your Stay Bookd number from your own phone (the one you gave us at signup) — you'll hear the greeting, and it never starts your trial.

What can the assistant promise my customers?

Only what you told it: your services, hours, service area, and the notes you gave. It never invents prices or promises, and anything it can't answer gets texted to you to handle personally.

What if a customer texts STOP?

We stop texting that number immediately and keep it suppressed — required by Canadian anti-spam law (CASL), handled automatically.

Can I change what my assistant says?

Yes — Dashboard → Settings. Edit your services, hours, booking link, or instructions and your assistant updates within seconds.

What happens if I cancel?

Billing stops at the end of your period, forwarding is yours to switch off (one dial code, on the forwarding page), and we hold your business number for 90 days in case you come back.
